​​​​As a clinical psychologist, my life mission is to help couples achieve their full potential with evidence-based approaches and a deep specialization. I offer sessions for couples going through a hard time and for couples who want to deepen/strengthen their emotional connection.

For couples going through a hard time
I offer my couples therapeutic sessions to couples who are having some difficulties, want to work through some conflicts and reconnect emotionally. These couples might want to come to therapy on a weekly or bi-weekly basis in a more intense manner. Some couples need urgent support in a crisis situation (discovery of adultery, an emotional wound that has accidentally happened, a breaking point has been reached) or are having repeated fights that are hard to work through, or persistent difficulties with intimacy. I want to help you understand those difficulties, overcome challenges, deescalate, learn to repair, reconnect in the safest environment, find that safe emotional bond between the two of you, learn to nourish and deepen this bond. Helping you with an attachment-oriented, bond-focused, and emotionally attuned way.


Couples therapeutic sessions are also helpful for couples who simply want to deepen their emotional connection without a major problems or a crisis - simply as a measure of prevention or deepening of their bond, or to prepare for a big life event such as marriage, having a child, or exploring their sexuality. Some couples want to take the next step, nurture their relationship in the healthiest way possible or simply want to make the most out of their emotional connection after having been married for a long time - you can come to therapy on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, even yearly basis, or as needed in order to provide your relationship with the best chance to develop in a deep and safely connected way. I will make your emotional patterns obvious to you, help you connect over things that you might have not seen yourself, help you deepen your connection and make it more secure. Take risks in a safe way and nourish your emotional bond, learn to dance even better with one another emotionally.

How do I get started with couples therapy?
STEP 1: LET'S GET IN CONTACT

STEP 2: YOUR FIRST SESSION + ORGANISATIONAL MEETING
​
We’ll start with a 90-minute emotionally focused couple therapy session so you can experience the work and take something meaningful back into your relationship right away. I move at a safe pace in this first meeting, taking time to hear each of you deeply.

STEP 3: THE CORE EFT WORK
EFT is often short-term, but flexible depending on your needs:

Standard model: 8–20 sessions, weekly or biweekly, 60–90 minutes each

Research average: about 12 sessions

Longer-term cases: 25+ sessions for deeper patterns, trauma, or attachment injuries
Typically, sessions take place on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, but EFCT is also suitable for intensive couple therapy with a tighter session schedule (more information on intensive couples therapy here).

We work in three phases:

De-escalation – understanding your patterns and building emotional safety

Restructuring – deepening connection and expressing needs in new ways

Consolidation – reinforcing changes and preparing for the future
Some couples also choose EFT as a short-term relationship boost before milestones (marriage, child planning, anniversaries, dating exploration), as a preventive measure, or as a measure to deepen and maintain their already strong emotional connection with a professional.

STEP 4: AFTERCARE
Once we wrap up our core work together, my door stays open. You’re welcome to book a refresher session to nurture your already strong bond anytime or preventive session whenever life brings a challenge—such as illness, life transitions, or simply wanting a yearly check-in.
